Attached you will find a very small DOS program (CDFFILE.EXE). I found this
program by accident when I was trying to install PAW1942 to get the 3DZs.
Basic installation went OK but during patching (to v1.42 ???) the process
aborted leaving behind a lot of files including this one.

When executed from the command-line without any parameters it will give some
help on usage. Anyway, I include a basic procedure to achieve what you want
(as far as I could understand). Paulo

To simplify matters I've made a set of extra tools, which will make making a 3dz.CDF. Follow the simple instructions below, and you'll have a new CDF file in 5 mins!

Have fun!

1. Take a copy of the CDF file you wish to edit and put it into a CLEAN temporary folder.

2. Use CDFRW.exe to extract all files into your temp folder.

3. Delete the CDF from the folder.

4. Cut and paste all your custom files from your EAW main folder, into the temp folder, letting them over write the files in your temp folder. I would recommend you test all the files you add to your CDF files in the EAW main folder first.

5. Generate a text file containing a list of all files by clicking on the Make List batch tool.

7. Click on the Packer batch tool for the CDF you wish to create, and this will make a new CDF file.

8. Place your brand new shinning updated CDF in EAW folder.
